How Does the Andrucci Roulette System Work?
Roulette is one of the simplest and most popular casino games in the gambling world. It is over 200 years old, and played in almost every major casino world wide. The rules are easy: place a bet on the number or numbers that you think the ball will land on; if your guess is correct, you win an amount of money proportional to the odds of guessing correctly.
Mathematically, there is no sure-fire system to beat the odds at the roulette wheel, other than to "steal the money off the table," in the famous words of Einstein. When the croupier spins the numbered wheel and the ball track, how the ball lands in random. However, many casino gamblers swear by different roulette strategies, including the Andrucci system, which is described here.
The Andrucci system is based on two assumptions about the frequency of numbers on the roulette wheel:
(1) in the long run (1,000,000 spins or more) all the numbers should appear approximately the same number of times, and
(2) in the short run (less than 100 spins) some numbers will appear more frequently than others.
Thus, the key to using the Andrucci system is to identify the numbers occuring frequently in the short run, and place bets on them.
To apply the Andrucci Roulette System, when you are at the roulette wheel, write down all the numbers that appear in 30 consecutive spins. Don't place any bets at this time, just observe and record.
Look at your list of numbers, and select the number that has come up most frequently. Place a straight-up bet on that number for 30 consecutive spins, and wager the same amount every spin.
If more than one number is tied for most frequent occurance, and they are adjacent on the table, place a bet on the split or street. Otherwise, just pick one of the numbers.
According to Andrucci Roulette theory, the number that you selected is highly likely to appear at least once during your 30 spins. If it does, you beat the odds and make a profit.
A variation of the Andrucci method is to use it for placing outside bets. For example, if 18 or more of the first 30 spins land on red, then you should place a bet on red for the next 30 spins. Or if 17 out of the first 30 spins are numbers in the 1-12 range, place a bet on the first dozen.
